Our dedicated treatment coordinator will work directly with your family to create a plan that fits your needs. We accept most insurances such as United Concordia. In addition, we are the only practice in the area that accepts Medicaid.
We are also dedicated to providing excellent care for our military families and to show our appreciation for their service, we offer a military discount. We believe that everyone deserves the confidence and success a great smile will bring.

Our Story
After finishing dental school in 2003, Dr. Behl obtained his Doctor of Science degree in Oral Biology from Boston University in 2007. Once he had completed his specialty training in orthodontics from Boston University in 2010, he moved to southern Virginia.
Dr. Behl founded his own practice with a very simple mission in mind. He wanted to provide excellent and affordable care using only the latest technology to as many people as he possibly could. He didn’t want to just be their orthodontist of choice – he wanted to enhance the lives and the oral health of each and every person who walked through the practice’s door.
Dr. Behl and his family are proud members of this community and are looking to give back in any and all ways that they can.

We rely on proven industry tech like SureSmile, iTero, the use of 3D printers for retainers and more.
With SureSmile, for example, it is scientifically proven to make treatments faster and more effective than alternative options. Dr. Behl only approves of technology that is evidence-based.
iTero Scanner
The iTero is an intraoral 3D scanner that digitally creates a perfect model of your teeth and gums. The tool is a handheld device that scans every nook and cranny in your oral cavity.
If you’ve ever had a mold taken of your mouth, you know how uncomfortable it can be. Orthodontic trays don’t always fit your mouth, and the molding gels and mixtures can trigger gag reflexes.
These old-school molds can also be inaccurate, which requires you to undergo another molding process.
We want our patients to feel comfortable and informed about their treatment goals. iTero improves these factors by using a handheld device to scan and model your current smile.
We also use the iTero to project and map out your treatment and results.

iCAT 3D Digital Imaging
Our practice is dedicated to providing you with the safest and most convenient treatment options available. Therefore, we utilize advanced digital x-ray technology in our office.
Advances in technology have allowed us to avoid taking those yucky mouth impressions and still produce accurate representations of your teeth to develop an efficient treatment plan.
Our digital scanner creates a replica of our patients’ teeth in less than 15 minutes. We can diagnose and discuss treatment options chair side immediately with our patients and parents.

SureSmile®
