When should my child first see an orthodontist?
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first orthodontic check-up by about age 7. Many children do not need treatment at that visit; the check-up shows whether anything should be monitored.
What is the difference between an orthodontist and a general dentist?
An orthodontist is a dentist who completed additional full-time university residency training in orthodontics after dental school. Your treatment plan at Behl Orthodontics is designed by an orthodontist.
Is Invisalign® or braces better for me?
It depends on how your teeth and bite need to move, and on how you live. Your orthodontist will tell you which options can achieve your goals at your consultation.
How much does treatment cost?
Your fee depends on the treatment you need and how long it takes. You will receive your full fee, what it includes and payment options at your consultation, before you commit.
Do you take insurance?
Many dental plans include an orthodontic benefit. Our team can check your benefits before your consultation and explain what your plan is likely to cover.
Can I use an HSA or FSA?
Orthodontic treatment that is medically necessary is generally an eligible expense for health savings and flexible spending accounts. Check the rules of your own plan.
